Our Thoughts on HEAVEN - Sanctifying

Christian told Prudence one of the means of overcoming sin which was effectual in his own walk was:

"When my thoughts wax warm about whither I am going -- that will do it."

With heaven in mind, my 10 year old daughter spouted off the following poem. I asked her to write it down and send to me, here it is. We ought, like Bunyan's Christian, have thoughts that WAX WARM ABOUT WHITHER we are going.

Our family of seven
in heaven
where there is no sorrow
or tomorrow
just light
not night
where there is street of gold
not mold
where I stay earnestly
and eternally.

1Pe 1:4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Rev 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign forever and ever.

Rev 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

There is a lot of insight into God's heavenly home for His children in your 10 year old daughter's poem.
